Newcastle City Council is running a program to encourage office workers to get out from behind their desks at lunchtime.
Today’s activity was a bicycle demonstration featuring some weird and wonderful contraptions in Wheeler place.
There were old, new and novelty bikes, including a Penny Farthing and demonstrations of
retro, restored and electric bikes which are enjoying a resurgence in popularity.
Bicycle advocates are promoting a more cycle-friendly city.
