LENNOX HEAD SET FOR RECYCLED WATER SERVICE

Almost 80 new homes in Lennox Head will be connected to a recycled water system from July.
In what Ballina Shire Council believes is a first for regional New South Wales, the properties will be supplied with both recycled and drinking water through a dual reticulated system.
Recycled water can be used for washing clothes, flushing toilets and watering the garden.
Houses in Ballina are expected to be connected later this year.
It’s part of council’s $85-million Ballina-Lennox Head Recycled water program.
