POLICE EXCAVATE PROPERTY NEAR ARMIDALE IN SEARCH OF MISSING MAN

Police are excavating a property on the outskirts of Armidale, following the disappearance of a man more than 20 years ago.

William Roach, also known as Bill, vanished aged 25 on New Year’s Eve 1993, after he was last seen walking along Grafton Road earlier that day.

Two decades on, investigations have led police to carry out a search warrant at a property in the area, where they’ll search a number of outdoor areas and buildings on the site.
