A Narrabri occupational therapist has been recognised at a state level for her work.
Bregje van der Heijden has been nominated by her employer Logistics Health in the leadership category for the New South Wales/ACT Young Achiever Awards.
She moved to Australia from the Netherlands four years ago and mostly works with children around the North West.
“So with kids we do something completely different than of course with adults so it’s really hard to explain what an OT does, but I like that variety.”
The winner will be announced on April 1.
