The Tamworth Business Chamber believes the city is following a state wide trend when it comes to job growth in regional areas.
The comment comes after the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics figures were released yesterday, which shows the creation of new jobs is on the rise.
Over the past 12 months to January this year, more than 59,000 jobs were created in regional New South Wales, which is a 5.1 per cent increase, nearly one per cent more than the Sydney metropolitan area for the same period.
