DRUGS SEIZED FOLLOWING CENTRAL COAST PURSUIT
More than a kilogram of methylamphetamine, worth more than $550,000, has been seized, following a pursuit near Wyong last night.
Police say officers tried to stop a man on a motorcycle along the Pacific Highway at Hamlyn Terrace just after 11pm, but he didn’t pull over.
They followed him, until he lost control on Primrose Drive and hit a gutter.
Police allege during the pursit the rider reached speeds of 150 kpm, in a 50 zone.
While arresting the 39-year-old Bateau Bay man, officers allegedly found 1.1-kilograms of methylamphetamine.
He’s facing several drug and driving charges and will face court on April 20.
