BAR BEACH TO HOST AUSTRALIAN BOWL RIDING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Australian Bowl Riding Championships will be held at the Bar Beach Skate Park this weekend.

The Empire Park venue is recognised nationally as a magnet for talent.

“It’s definitely ahead of the time and you can see by the young talent you guys have here in Newcastle,” said pro skater Corbin Harris.

Merewether’s Jed McKenzie will be one to watch.
