There’ll be plenty of action down on the water at Tweed Heads this weekend, with New South Wales and Queensland police hosting training exercises.
Close to ten boats will be performing searches about eighteen kilometres offshore, with more than 80 people taking part.
Residents should also keep their eyes out for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, which will be performing rescues from the air.
