BUSHRANGERS PUT UP STRONG FIGHT AGAINST HUNTER

Northern Inland began its under 15s Junior Gold Cup rugby union campaign against Hunter today in Gunnedah.
It was a scrappy affair, with the referee heavily penalising both teams.
The visitors got on the scoreboard first though, getting the ball wide for the winger to score in the left corner.
It was the only try of the first half, with neither side able to hold onto the ball for long periods.
Hunter went on with the job, scoring twice after the break to win 17-7.
