TAREE OLD BAR READY FOR TITLES

Taree Old Bar Surf Lifesaving club is looking to build on its success when it hosts the Lower North Coast Branch Titles this weekend.

Honing their skills this week, the younger contingent of the club are feeling confident.

A traditional march past is expected to be a spectacle on the day.

“We’re trying to pull in a couple of the long time members and that will be a little bit of a show of colour for us.”

It’s the first time the club has held an event of this scale in more than a decade, after they were bought out of administration last year.
