A search today uncovered more medical waste at the Newcastle rubbish tip, where two surgically-removed human legs were found on Tuesday.
The Environment Protection Authority, which is leading the investigation, says it’s trying to trace which hospital the waste originated from.
Meanwhile, Labor is calling on the state’s Health Minister to investigate how the limbs wound up at a dump in the first place.
