A 33-year old woman, who allegedly harboured an escapee from Glen Innes correctional centre last year, has been charged.
Two prisoners escaped from the facility in October last year, with one of the men detained shortly after.
The second prisoner was arrested in Newcastle last month.
Detectives arrested the woman on Monday, alleging she harboured the 34-year old man for up to six weeks prior to his arrest.
She has been granted conditional bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court next month.
