A man has been charged following a home invasion at Inverell yesterday morning.
An 80-year-old woman was confronted by a man inside her Macintyre Street home, before he fled out the back door.
The woman noticed money had been stolen from her purse.
The man was found by police in a nearby street. He allegedly had cash, three large knives and stolen items with him.
He’s been charged with a string of offences and will face court tomorrow.
