Merewether’s Philippa Anderson has been knocked out of QS 1000 Great Lakes Pro in the third round.
It was a similar story for clubmate Jesse Adam in the men’s division.
He scraped through round four, but was then bundled out in the fifth.
Fellow Merewether surfer Jackson Baker suffered the same fate.
He edged out New Zealand’s Billy Stairmand by just point one to make round five, only to be eliminated by a narrow margin himself.
