LITTERBUGS PUT ON NOTICE AFTER HUGE NORTH WALL CLEANUP

Those who enjoy time on the Richmond River, are being told to clean up their act after Ballina’s Green Army unit removed an enormous 15 kilograms of rubbish from the north wall.

Green Army supervisor Keith Williams says incorrectly disposing of garbage endangers the local ecosystem.

He’s asking people to use the bins provided by council and to avoid bringing plastics near the water where possible.
