PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED: 11 YEAR OLD BOY APPROACHED ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Police are investigating a report of a boy approached by two males at Copacabana last week.

About 4.20pm on Thursday February 11, two 11-year-old boys were walking on Copacabana Drive, when one of the boys was approached by a vehicle.

Police have been told the passenger in the car spoke to the boy and asked him to get in. The boy refused.

The car left the area.

Officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command were notified of the incident yesterday (Sunday) and commenced an investigation.

Detectives would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

One of the men is described as being aged in his 50s and was seen wearing a black t-shirt.

The second man is described as being aged in his 50s, with short white hair and stubbled grey beard. He was seen wearing a printed pattern light blue t-shirt.

The vehicle is described as a charcoal Hyundai SUV.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
