WARRINGAH TAKES OUT MICK CURREY RUGBY SEVENS

Shute Shield side Warringah has taken out the 20-16 Mick Currey rugby sevens tournament at Charlestown this afternoon.
Up against an Australian-South African invitational side, the Rats were a class above their opponents, steaming ahead to a 21 point lead.
The Ozboks hit the scoreboard in the second, but that was little relief, Warringah turning on a master-class on their way to the title.
Earlier, Hamilton won the country cup, downing Kiama 45 to 14.
