STEWART McLACHLAN EDGES ISAK COSTELLO IN HUNTER BOARD PADDLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

He’s won the past three national board paddling titles, but Redhead’s Stewart McLachlan was pushed all the way at the Hunter branch championships by club mate Isak Costello.

McLachlan, managing to pull down a wave on his own to take the win.

Swansea Belmont’s Renee Gregory enjoyed a comfortable win in the women’s, while Redhead’s Ethan Whiteman beat Costello up the beach to take out the swim.
