A 47-year-old man has died on scene, after his van collided head on with a B-double in Woolgoolga, north of Coffs Harbour last night.
Police are investigating whether the southbound Volkswagon van drifted into northbound traffic at around 10pm.
The 44-year-old driver of the truck was taken to hospital for observation.
A third vehicle sustained minor damage, but the driver was uninjured.
