There’s been a major development in an industrial relations stand off on Newcastle Harbour, with police boarding a ship to forcibly remove five protestors.
The workers were refusing to leave the ‘CSL Melbourne’, after they and 11 others lost their jobs with the ship carrier.
“I mean I would think no Australian job or any Australian worker is safe now, job security has been thrown out the window with this”,
The workers say they’re being replaced by a foreign crew, the union has vowed to continue to fight the sackings.
