KEMPSEY’S LACHLAN DOWLING LEADS MACLEAY VALLEY TO VICTORY

Macleay Valley’s Under 16s representative side has scored a strong win over Hastings in Mid North Coast Junior Cricket.

A century to Kempsey’s Lachlan Dowling put Macleay Valley in a commanding position, leaving Hastings 298 to chase.

A courageous 98 by Caleb Blanch not enough to chase down the total, with Hastings falling 46-runs short.

The second match in the three game series will be played in Port Macquarie later this month.
