SCONE’S “PRO CONSUL” TAKES OUT WALCHA CUP PRELUDE

Scone- trained horse Pro Consul took out the $15,000 Walcha Cup Prelude in Armidale this afternoon.

It’s Rachael Murray’s 34th winning ride in the past 12 months.

Pro Consul finished just ahead of Bendemeer- trained horse Santiago, ridden by Daniel Northey.

Two, 11 and six were the numbers you needed, with the quinella worth $26.50 and the trifecta $165.80.
