Northern Tablelands residents are invited to have their say on the potential merger between Armidale Dumaresq Council and Guyra Shire Council next month.
A delegate appointed to assess the proposal has met with councillors to outline the process both parties have to go through to satisfy state government requirements.
A public meeting will be held at the Armidale City Bowling Club on February 11 to gather community feedback.
Residents can also make an online submission up until February 28.
