Investigators have been unable to access the site of a toy warehouse fire at Lake Macquarie for a second day, due to safety reasons.
Family business, RJ Wood Toy Wholesalers at Bennetts Green, was destroyed in the blaze in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The fire was so intense, part of the nearby Pacific Highway was closed.
Police expect to gain access to the site tomorrow or Thursday – they’re investigating the possibility the blaze was deliberately lit.
