Emergency services have responded to reports of a shooting at a police station in Sydney’s north-west. Paramedics are at the scene at Quakers Hill – where it’s believed one person has been seriously injured.

Fire authorities in Victoria are on edge after a fierce bushfire swept through the Mornington Peninsula – and more extreme heat is expected today. The out-of-control blaze destroyed one home and around six sheds.
One of the co-founders of legendary rock band “The Eagles” – Glenn Frey – has died at age of 67. The band broke the news on their public Facebook page this morning.
