PAID-PARKING STAGE TWO ROLLED OUT IN BYRON

Stage two of Byron Bay’s paid parking scheme has been rolled out this weekend.

Additional meters, with longer time limits, have been installed along Lawson, Shirley and Butler streets on the outskirts of town.

Motorists will be able to park for either four hours or the entire day at these locations.

Two and four hour limits will also now apply to unmetered on-street parking for visitors in residential areas, while residents will receive permits allowing them to park as normal.
