And don’t forget, in NRMA’s Seeing red on roads survey late last year, Holgate was voted 2nd worst suburb in NSW, and Wattle Tree Rd, at Holgate, 6th worst road. An unenviable achievement, displacing many major roads. It’s about time Gosford City Council did more to improve local roads at Holgate and make them safer after years of neglect. The Wattle Tree Rd, Paroo Rd, Ridgeway is becoming an increasingly busy thoroughfare connecting the Central Coast Hwy Erina, to the Pacific Hwy at Lisarow. After 3 cars going over the edge in the same spot on Paroo Road since August, surely at least a guard rail might save a life.
