Police are appealing for the driver of a ute, involved in an alleged hit and run in Newcastle yesterday, to come forward.
A 25-year-old cyclist was riding along Darby Street just after 5pm, when he was hit by a white Holden Rodeo while crossing Parry Street.
The crash was captured on a dashcam camera from another vehicle.
Following the crash several cars and people can be seen chasing after the ute.
Thankfully the cyclist wasn’t seriously hurt.
Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash.
