Police have arrested five people, following an armed robbery and kidnapping at Casino on Saturday.
A cleaner, arriving for work at around four-am was allegedly grabbed and restrained by one offender, while two others ransacked the property – taking alcohol and cash.
During this time, police claim fourth man threatened the 30-year-old employee with a golf club and dragged around the club.
The group then fled – taking the stolen goods, and the employee with them. He was released soon after and was able to make his way back to the club and report the matter to police.
An 18-year-old Casino man was arrested on Sunday, while a 16-year-old man was arrested a short time later.
Three other males were arrested today, they’re helping police with their inquiries.
