The Hunter’s Toby Price has finished fifth in stage seven of the Dakar rally, helping him to maintain second in the bike division.
Despite finishing 12 minutes behind the Australian, Paulo Goncalves (gone-sal) from Portugal retains the overall lead.
His time was adjusted after he stopped to help a fellow competitor for 10 minutes at the start of the stage.
The riders now have a rest day before beginning stage eight.
