Former Newcastle basketball junior Ben Simmons has drawn high praise from one of the greatest basketballers of all time.
Lakers legend Magic Johnson says Simmons is the best all round player he’s seen since LeBron James.
Johnson believes the 19 year old will have an immediate impact with the team that picks him in the next NBA draft.
This afternoon, Simmons was back in action for his college side, as LSU hosted the University of Kentucky.
