Organisers have praised the behaviour of music fans, who welcomed the new year at Byron’s Falls Festival.
16,000 revellers packed into the North Byron Parklands during the three-day event, which featured performances from Weird Al Yankovic, Disclosure and the Hilltop Hoods.
Miley Cyrus and the Hemsworth brothers were even spotted amongst the crowd.
The number of festival-goers requiring medical attention was almost half that of last year’s event.
