There were perfect conditions at Lake Macquarie for day one of the Australian Laser Championship finals.
In the radial gold fleet Finn Alexander continued his dominance finishing first, while retaining his number one position overall.
Leading the women in the radials is world number one Ashley Stoddart- she’s currently sitting in 4th in the open competition.
While in the standard rig, world number one Tom Burton finished third in the first race of the day, before improving to take line honours in the second.
He’s currently leading the overall point score.
