CLUB LOOKS AHEAD AFTER SUCCESSFUL TAREE CUP CARNIVAL

After a highly successful Taree Cup Carnival, the Taree-Wingham Race Club is looking at increasing the prize money for the Hopkins Livermore Cup next year.
The $40,000 race was the principal event last Friday, with Wyong-trained gelding No Bad Blood first across the line.
“Although we only had 9 runners this year the turnover on the race was exceptionally good that race itself held over a quarter of a million dollars on the TAB.”
Meanwhile, five-year-old gelding Olympic Academy claimed Sunday’s $80,000 Gold Cup.
