The RAAF’s latest group of fighter pilots made a fleeting appearance over the Hunter’s coast today,
as they returned to their base at Williamtown from training in Townsville.
The FA-18s passed over Port Stephens and Nobbys in a Tigerbird or Arrowhead formation, before breaking off and heading back to base.
The crews have been involved in intensive training for the past six months.
