WASTED COFFS TIMBER TURNED TO PROFIT

A new way of re-using timber waste is benefiting a number of projects around Coffs Harbour.
Previously turned into mulch, trees removed by council from public land are now being milled and given to local schools.
This morning, Coffs Harbour High School students received new materials for woodwork projects.
Other suitable waste is also being used by council to build community assets such as picnic tables and boardwalks.
