TUGGERAH SPORTS PRECINCT GIVEN $10-MILLION KICK

Meanwhile, the Minister also pledged $10-million to the Tuggerah Sports Precinct at Pioneer Dairy.

“The project that is being funded here today – $24-million, 9 sporting fields, car parks and so on – will deliver very significant benefits to the Central Coast and the Wyong area.”

Construction is expected to begin mid-next year, while Wyong Council also has plans for a 3,000 seat stadium to be built at a later time.

“This is the first stage, which is the most significant, but the master plan is in place, and obviously we’ll be seeking further funding from you guys, as well as the state and our own resources.”
