New South Wales has had an easy win over Tasmania in the second elevens game played in Coffs Harbour.
The Tasmanian batsmen were all out for 299 in their second innings soon after lunch today, still 83 runs short of the blue’s first innings total of 568.
Harry Conway had the best bowling figures of 3 for 38 for New South Wales in the second innings.
Skipper Daniel Hughes top scoring with a massive 300 not out.
The match was a trial for February’s Sheffield Shield game between New South Wales and South Australia, which will be held in Coffs Harbour as a tribute to the late Phillip Hughes.
