The coastal community of Valla is mourning the death of two people, killed in
a shocking crash involving a car and an ambulance on the Pacific Highway on Friday.
Police have confirmed a 17 year old female p-plate driver and her 50-year-old mother – both from Valla Beach – lost their lives when their Nissan Pulsar pulled out into the path of an ambulance, causing it to roll.
Two paramedics, a doctor and a nurse were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
