BOGEY HOLE CLOSED FOR SAFETY ASSESSMENT
Newcastle’s iconic Bogey Hole has been closed to the public, while the state government investigates the stability of the sea cliff.

The department says it’s acting on advice from Newcastle City Council, whose preliminary geotechnical tests indicated the cliff above the swimming hole could pose a safety risk.
