The city of Lismore has taken a proactive approach to dealing with the demands of an ageing population.
Representatives from aged care providers, seniors groups and the state government, filled the council chambers during a two-day working forum to explore future housing solutions.
Increasing the supply of homes, improving the facilities and working with public transport were identified as key priorities.
