Five agriculture workers from across the New England North West have been recognised for their hard work in this year’s National Growth Awards.
Breeza grower John Hamparsum, Moree agronomist Peter Birch and Guyra grower Paul Butterworth are among 24 others to be nominated.
They’re in the running for top honours in three categories, including productivity and sustainability.
Winners will be announced on December 1 and invited on an international study tour next year.
