Two men have been charged after allegedly assaulting a security guard in Newcastle last night.
According to police, the men, aged 21 and 29 became violent with the guard, after being escorted out of the Junction Hotel at around seven-thirty.
Soon after leaving, the pair then allegedly exposed themselves to several people eating at a nearby restaurant.
When police arrived, they claim the pair also challenged officers but were later arrested without incident.
The pair were charged with assault, obscene exposure and offensive behaviour.
The pair was granted strict bail and will face Newcastle Local Court next month.
