DEVELOPMENT IN WICKHAM SHOOTING MURDER – TWO MEN TO FACE COURT

Two men are due to appear in Newcastle Local Court today, in a new development in the alleged murder of Robert Parry in Wickham, earlier this year.
Mr Parry was shot on Dickson Street, Wickham on March 7, later died at the scene.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in September and charged with the possession of two sawn-off shot guns, but an ongoing investigation has led to the arrest of two more men this week.
Police yesterday arrested 22-year-old Jessie Nikolovski at the Silverwater Correctional Complex.
He was charged with a number of offences including murder, robbery and possessing an unauthorised firearm.
Earlier today, 22-year-old, Daniel Petryk, was arrested at a correctional facility in Cessnock.
He was charged with murder, possessing and using an unauthorised loaded firearm in a public place.
