SECOND DIVISION TO BE REVAMPED

Group 4’s Second Division could grow by two next season, with Wee Waa dropping from first division, and Bundarra pushing for inclusion as well.

“If Group 19 say no, then it’s up to Bundarra then to probably pick up the ball and run with it and see if they take it to the CRL and go from there. So there’s still a bit of work to be done there.”

Its led officials to break the 12-team competition into two tiers of six.

Clubs are expected to be honest about their quality when deciding which level to enter.

“Sides like your Barraba’s, your Bendemeer’s and your Walcha’s probably could float either way. That’ll be the decision they’ll need to make. Does it come about being competitive, does it come about travel, does it come about winning competitions.”
