The Newcastle Jets W-League side has fallen 2-1 to Western Sydney this afternoon at Magic Park in Broadmeadow after the Wanderers scored an injury time winner.
The Jets took the lead early when Jenna Kingsley struck for the home team in the 4th minute.
But the visitors took the ascendency after the break, with Chloe O’Brien leveling the scores in the 57th minute.
The game looked headed for a draw until Carmelina Moscato scored in the 90th minute to steal an away victory for the Wanderers.
The defeat is the Jets first loss of the W-League season.
