Growing interest in women’s rugby league has prompted calls for the development of a female competition on the lower Mid North Coast.
Local League Development Officer, Kylie Hilder, has been leading the charge.
The concept will discussed at this month’s Group Three Annual General Meeting.
“Since the introduction of league tag it’s basically got more women involved in clubs it’s not the male dominated sport it used to be,” Group Three President Wayne Bridge said.
