FORMER TAMWORTH JOCKEY DIES IN TRAGIC ACCIDENT

Former Tamworth jockey Tim Bell has died in a tragic accident in Singapore.

It’s believed he slipped and fell 12 storeys from a balcony, in his high-rise apartment overnight.

The 22-year-old grew up in Narrabri and began his career as a teenage jockey in Tamworth, working as an apprentice for local trainer Sue Grills.

He’d been living and working in Singapore on a three month contract.
