The North West Cancer Council has welcomed a new agreement, in which cancer patients will receive discounted accommodation when they have to travel to Sydney for treatments.
Cancer Council New South Wales and AccorHotels will work together to ease the financial burden for patients and their families.
62 venues across the state will provide up to 30 per cent off standard room rates.
