STOCKTON MAN ARRESTED IN HUNTER VALLEY COLD CASE
A 64-year-old Stockton man has been arrested in relation to the murder of a woman whose body was found at East Maitland more than 30 years ago.
31-year-old Elizabeth Dixon’s body was found by a jogger on April 6, 1982 in her car at Ashtonfield. She’d been stabbed to death.
In 2013, police renewed their appeal for information on the murder and increased the reward for information from $50,00 to $150,000.
Police arrested the man on Wednesday at a home in Stockton after a tip-off.

If the guy that was taken into custody goes to court and convicted of the murder he they then receive the reward!
